Highway 5, heading South from Los Angeles
Exit #28 La Jolla Village Dr.
- Turn right onto La Jolla Village Dr. and go up hill to Torrey Pines Rd.
- Turn left onto Torrey Pines Rd. and drive downhill two miles to Hidden Valley Rd. and La Jolla Parkway intersection.
- Slight left from Torrey Pines Rd. to cross intersection onto Hidden Valley Rd.
- Follow Hidden Valley Rd. up mountain turning right onto Via Capri.
- Follow Via Capri to top of mountain turning left into Soledad Natural Park.
Or:
Exit #23 Balboa/Garnet Ave.
- Follow Mission Bay Dr. to Garnet Ave.
- Turn right at Garnet Ave. and right again at next traffic light onto Soledad Mountain Rd.
- Drive about 3 miles up mountain and turn right at light onto La Jolla Scenic Dr.
- Continue straight ahead into Soledad Natural Park.

Exit #26A La Jolla Parkway West
- Follow Parkway over hill and turn left onto Hidden Valley Rd.
- Follow Hidden Valley Rd. up the mountain turning right onto Via Capri.
- Follow Via Capri to top of mountain turning left into Soledad Natural Park.

Exit #23A Grand/Garnet Ave.
- Follow Mission Bay Dr. to Garnet Ave.
- Turn left on Garnet Ave. and right at next traffic light onto Soledad Mountain Rd.
- Drive about 3 miles up mountain and turn right at light onto La Jolla Scenic Dr.
- Continue straight ahead into Soledad Natural Park.
